Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Tru Hotel by Hilton takes shape, standing tall at four stories and 45,262 square feet. This contemporary haven is set with 90 thoughtfully designed rooms, each promising a perfect blend of comfort and modernity. This new wood framed hotel will be located at 2520 Veterians Memorial Drive. Phillip B Smith Architect is working closely with Mid America Hotels Corporation as this project continues in the construction process.

John Boardman Excellence in Historic Rehabilitation Award

"Architect Phillip B. Smith was presented with the John Boardman Excellence in Historic Rehabilitation Award. The award honors the efforts of individuals, businesses and organizations for their preservation of historic structures. In 2017, Smith and his wife, Kimberly, purchased a 130-year-old home at 423 Themis St. and turned it into his architectural firm’s offices."
